Accommodation is in 1-2 person sea front bungalows with bathrooms and fans located at the Nature Lodge on Tha Khao Bay beach.
Meals, we have the lodge's sunrise restaurant, breakfast is included in the retreat cost, lunch can be arranged, dinner at the lodge, or we go explore the local eateries. Namtuk and Sea Gypsy restaurants have especially good all-you-can-eat buffets
Tha Khao village is just 5 minutes walk from the lodge. This charming and truly authentic thai village .maybe one-in-three locals speaks English..is a perfect reflection of the older, more traditional Thailand, an uncomplicated island way of being. There are numerous café/restaurants, craft shops..you can design and print your own batik.., fruit and veg stalls, a "sell absolutely everything" general store, scooter rentals and the ferry pier .this is where travelers from Ao Nang and Krabi arrive
Tha Khao has some great food choices, both thai and western. Fish and seafood, caught daily and cooked "Thai Style" is very popular. Meat or vegetarian dishes are also available, and don't miss out on the delicious deserts, sometimes wrapped in banana leaves, you often don't know what you're getting until you've paid and it's, "Surprise desert" time!!! Of course, this being the tropics, there is always an abundance of fresh fruit, mangos , papaya, pineapple, jackfruit etc.
