Born in Snowdonia national park, North Wales, UK, David's twin passions of outdoor adventure and spiritual seeking led him to create a personal growth school for teens and young adults with the emphasis on experiential learning and personal empowerment. During this period he also studied and was mentored by his spiritual guide. This was followed by a period of intensive reflection, where David spent years in India, S E Asia, Africa and Europe, traveling, climbing, studying and practicing yoga, meditation and sacred chants.

Moving to the US in 1996, first to Oregon, then Taos, New Mexico, he continued to impart his unique brand of spiritual insight and personal growth trainings. The last three winters have been spent on the island of Koh Yao Noi in southern Thailand, where he has now established a spiritual retreat center at Ulmers Nature lodge on Tha Khaw bay.

An inspiring and deeply insightful teacher, David's gift is his ability to impart complex teachings in a clear simple and often humerous fashion. He is also dedicated to teaching spirituality that has a commonsense and practical basis, sharing knowledge that is both enjoyable and fundamental to your life purpose.
