home photo

Join us for a unique "Spiritual Adventure" on the enchanting island of Koh Yao Noi in the Andaman Sea.

This January-February, we are hosting 3 day retreats combining yoga and meditation with island adventures. The body-mind-spirit practices signify the “Inner Journey”, a spiritual odyssey, where you will learn, using simple consciousness awakening techniques, to create the foundation for a regular spiritual practice. There are certain essential elements required for creating your own successful spiritual practice. It is important to choose body-mind-spirit practices that suit you.

Gaining insights into the teachings of the modern and ancient masters, science and the natural world is an invaluable aid. You will also be encouraged to develop your own unique spiritual philosophy.

We will also show the emerging parallels between new science and traditional metaphysics. This is an important study as it allows our left brain intellect as well as our right brain intuition to comprehend this journey of "inner worlds" The program is suitable for beginner to advanced practitioner, no previous experience is necessary. The adventure choices will include trekking, bird watching, biking and rock climbing, kayaking, snorkeling, diving or just lazing on the beaches. The retreat will be held at Ulmers Nature Lodge on Tha Khao bay. Situated right on the beach, the resort is a delightful oasis of peace and tranquility. With the bright clean bungalows no more than one minute from the sea, you will gaze out on the magnificent limestone towers of the Phang Nga bay, and wake to sounds of the ocean gently lapping the shoreline, the spectacular sunrises heralding a new dawn.

THAILAND MEDITATION

With more than 90% of its population following the Buddhist religion, Thailand is one of the most Buddhist countries in the world. This is reflected in the gentle, easygoing & playful nature of the people you will meet here. Buddhism first arrived in Thailand and Southeast Asia around the 3rd century, B.C. when the Buddhist emperor of India, Asoka, sent elder (or Thera) monks to the territory of Suvarnabhumi, considered by many to be what is now modern-day Thailand. The teachings of the Buddha flourished and spread throughout Southeast Asia including Burma, Laos, and Cambodia. Within modern-day Thailand, Buddhism is tightly woven into the culture, with even a stipulation in the national constitution that the king be Buddhist.
